The Highline
This unique location features many opportunities for amazing urban photos. There is an amazing view of the city skyline, a walk way leading to the view with classic Pittsburgh industrial buildings sitting across from each other, as well as an abandoned passenger train with graffiti on display.

Mellon Park
Mellon park offers plenty of flowers and greenery, creating a naturally beautiful aesthetic to any images taken here. There a benches, gates, a nice small overlook, and a water fountain. This is a popular location for couples, families, and grads!

PPG Place & Market Square
PPG Place and Market Square tend to have a lot of foot traffic but the photos that can be taken here are sure worth it! The tall glass buildings, brick roads/sidewalks, red colored walls and more or very unique touches for your photos.

Mellon Square
Located right in the heart of the city, this location displays a unique look of urban city mixed with trees & plants. There is a set of steps at this location that I find very good for photos and it is just a short walk from Strawberry Way. Also did I mention there is a parking garage right below the location?

Schenley Park
Located right down the street from Oakland, Schenley Park offers a unique overlook with the city peaking just above the trees along with a well wooded area that will make you forget you are still right in the city! I like to consider this Pittsburgh’s “Central Park”

Mexican War Streets
Located right on the Northside of the city, the Mexican War Streets are perfect for Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions featuring trees lined along narrow brick sidewalks and unique Victorian row homes. There are 3 popular streets:

Allegheny Commons West Park
Also located on the North Side (and right down the street from the Mexican War Steets), is the West Park of Allegheny Commons. Another unique park to the city of Pittsburgh. It features a small lake with 2 arched bridges across the lake. Like Schenley park, this park features a unique view of the city peaking just over the trees.

North Shore Landing
Located on the North Shore is one of my favorite locations for your classic cityscape portraits. It is right on the river next to PNC Park in between the Roberto Clemente Bridge and Seventh Street bridges which are a short walk away to be included in any photo session here.

The Renaissance Hotel
The Renaissance Hotel is located right near the Roberto Clemente Bridge downtown Pittsburgh. It is a very elegant property with a beautiful lobby, staircase, and stained glass high ceilings. This location is perfect for couples and portraits with a touch of elegance!

Mill 19
Mill 19 is a very unique location. It is the very last operating steel mill of Pittsburgh. It is located right along the Monongahela River and has been lightly renovated as an office space yet still keeping the original structure and aesthetics of the mill. This location is also good for a night session as it has great lighting aesthetics!
